I am a scientist with a multidisciplinary education in Genomics and Data Science, interested in understanding the interactions between genetics and the environment related to our health.
With over 30 years of experience in the areas of population genetics, molecular diagnostics and data analysis, I am currently a Senior Data Scientist at UCL London. My work focuses on optimising clinical decision support using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques, in the context of the Neotree project. This project explores the feasibility of implementing optimised diagnostic algorithms through Artificial Intelligence, in low-resource settings.
